It may not be as bad as TTAFFBH, but once the plot got to the point where Malcom was just playing pranks like infecting electric pompom (yes, this was a story) I started questioning how they weren't using the full potential of the show. That and having 3 1/4 sets, but this is DIC after all.
I do remember that at one point Amp left the show as was immediately replaced with some surfer dude that was even more brain-scrambled than Amp. I didn't think that was possible, but they pulled it off.
But yeah, the fight scenes were the only plus to this series.
As much as I hate to admit it - I liked SHSCS because the monsters and Cerbo designs kicked ass. OH yeah you forgot to mention that when the other 3 characters' Zoi - er I mean machines combine - one of their forms LOOKS LIKE FUCKING OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!
Enigma, I'd really rather not do a search on that. I'm worried I'll find porn. It wasn't mindblowing. It was an OK show but not one I think that much about.
I loved this show as a kid, Servo & the support vehicles who backed him up were more realistic than the rangers and the kaiju themed mega virus monsters were simply BADASS, easily the best aspect of the show. Even Malcolm was a welcome change from your typical sentai villains, just a lonely but seriously vindictive boy who sought revenge and companionship through the evil Kilokahn, who was more than happy to take advantage his vendettas if it could be turned to his advantage.
The show had some flaws, but so did alot of other hero shows at the time, but the fights and special effects made it worth it. Sad it didn't go on longer, wish it could be found on DVD.
Will you be doing reviews of VR Troopers or the Japanese metal hero shows that were used to make VR Troopers by any chance?

I hated Power Rangers so much, I MADE myself like this show.
That was a mistake... I actually did start to like it. And I loved the music.

I'm half surprised that you didn't get a cameo of CR! to do something about the MLP:FiM thing.
No Buck Plankchest? ;_;
Never realized it was another Japanese re-do. It was an interesting show but it didn't last long on any channel I had.

And NOTHING will be as bad as TTAFFBH...
You think the Amp switchout was mindblowing? Google Troy Slaten and check out what he's up to now...
hey you will be waiting for a while
Whatever happened to "bronies creeping you out"?
Besides, I figured you'd be watching the pony episode with the Diamond Dogs. That's the one with Scott McNeil in it.

Except the theme song, which is indeed great.
OMG I actually had toys from this show.
Jeez If I had to watch Sonic Underground I would have to marathon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic too.
also I totally remember this show! I even had the toys too!
although I can't say I remember a thing about it other than the cyber fights though
Thanks again TJ, This was another great and interesting walk down memory lane :D
You have Delta's gun...I'm so jealous.
I just remember bits and pieces of the show, just the suit designs and fights. Glad to know it was an okay show, considering its contemporaries.
I'm stilling waiting for the Bandora song to be one of those random clips before the video.
Heeey, is that Jerry from Parker Lewis? :D
