As we discussed on Skype during Mario Kart, I am also loving the new Thundercats cartoon. A lot. It is my favorite 80's cartoon. I agree with everything you said for the most part, but the one thing I would've also brought up in "the people who created this know their audience" is the fact that they keep the sound effects of the original Sword of Omens. They know the majesty, the magic, and the power of the original Sword of Omens, the most bad-ass sword ever, and they make it sound exactly the same when Lion-O uses its power. Hell, they even go back to the original sound effects of it from the first 10 or so episodes, before some of the sound FX weren't used anymore.

But yeah, excellent show.

Dude I completely agree with every single point you made. Writing, animation, the fillers having great writing, voice acting (including the mummra bit) and even the Samophlange.

I love the new show. This new segment is pretty neat too. Hoping to see more episodes in the future.

Great idea and first episode.
I just wanted to comment on hidden character placement in the 7th episode Legacy freeze the screen around the time when Mumm-Ra and Lion-O are watching the battle for the war stone and one corner of the screen will show Mon*Star from Silver Hawks.
To have a Silver Hawks and Thundercats crossover would be awesome and a sorely missed opportunity the first time around.

You should talk about My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. The fact that this show has exploded as the most popular series of this year is just mindboggling.

I'm still on the fence about the series and this hiatus hasn't helped. The opener left me confused as to if this was a retelling/reboot or a continuation set well into the future. Time will tell if this series continues to get my time, regardless of Clancy Brown.

You've started with a positive; maybe Voltron Force next to balance it out with a negative?

you should review the new power rangers samurai show. it uses the same elements of the first power rangers show and even uses the same intro (with just a few changes)

As a child of the 80's, I can easily relate to most of the shows brought up on TJ TV because they were apart of my childhood, too. Seeing your videos really do bring back memories, plus you make your reviews fun.

As for TJ Talks, so far I'm enjoying it despite not watching any type of modern animation for almost 10 years. Listening to this review almost makes me want to find episodes of the new Thunder Cats cartoon. Keep up the good work!

You forgot Lex Luthor in "Justice League". There was having Adam West as Mayor Grange in "The Batman". And their is no Cartoon Network in Canada.
