I had a few rock Lords when I was little... My bro had a bunch of minibots, and I had... stupide ROCKS. I also remember this piece of crap, as it was aired here in brazil like, once every two months.
You mentioned Stick & Stone's VAs, but you forgot to note that Telly Savallas was Magmar and Margot Kidder was Solitare. I remember really wanting to see this movie (yes, I enjoyed the show AND the toys, hush up) for years...only to be disappointed when I finally saw it. Like you said, it felt like a padded episode.
You've had Kidney stones at your young age? I'm sorry. I'm surprised you didn't mention Machine Robo and how the Rock Lords were handled a little better in that series.
