I like this review, except for the part about trying to give the characters some depth. God forbid we have characters with personalities and meaningful interactions, instead of episode upon episode of endless karate-ing like Dragonball Z.

I will give this cartoon ONE measley little point for getting Clancy Brown to voice Raiden. Hey wait, he was The Kurgan...who fought the Highlander...played by Christopher Lambert...who played RAIDEN! MY GOD!

interesting. been a while since i thought of this show. though, to be honest, i was more of a street fighter fan.
... and that show didn't stack up too well against the source material either.
I'm not sure how but I have the first few episodes on DVD.
So what happens if the next MK game has Dragon Jets made of explodey ice?

I find it interesting that Clancy Brown did the voice of Raiden here but in the live action movie Christopher Lambert played Raiden.
